My Serenity Sanctuary’s 2nd Annual Self-Care Summit

Program Overview

A one-day immersive self-care and wellness experience featuring inspiring speakers, self-care workshops, expert-led discussions, and space for rest and reflection. The program is designed to foster community and connection while allowing participants to flow naturally between sessions and self-guided experiences.

  • Doors open with herbal teas, infused water, and light snacks
  • Vendors open; participants receive welcome packet and workshop schedule (MySS bag)

Topic: Reclaiming Your Peace: The Practice of Everyday Self-Compassion

Participants can choose one of several small-group workshops (25–40 capacity each):

  • Restorative Yoga + Guided Sound Bath (outdoor garden area)
  • Sisters’ Listening Circle: Ask a Psychologist (intimate circle discussion)
  • Healthy Eating Workshop: Cooking Demonstration (cafe)
  • Self-Care for a Busy Life Workshop (interactive reflections and tools)
  • Financial Wellness Workshop: Creating Calm Through Clarity (practical budgeting mindset)
  • Women’s Health Workshop: PMS, Menopause, Maternal Care (expert-guided insights)
  • DIY Self-Care Studio – Hosted by Delta Sigma Theta, Los Angeles Alumnae Chapter
  • Docent/Guided Walk the Labyrinth
  • Note: Multiple sessions run twice a day, so participants can attend different sessions.

  • Optional mini pop-up: Chair massage & essential oil sampling
